Our Concepts
Somaek pays homage to the cuisine Jamie Bissonnette fell in love with while cooking with his mother-in-law, Soon Han - So much so that she is officially titled as the restaurant’s, consulting chef. The menu, written in both Korean and English, celebrates traditional dishes, and a robust banchan menu. The convivial cocktail menu, Featuring flavor-forward, low-LBV libations, and of course, the eponymous Somaek, Korean drink made with soju and maekju (beer).
Sushi @ Temple Records is our subterranean sushi den, where sushi Chef Kenta Katagai serves nigiri, moriawase, sashimi, and makimono around a custom 22-seat sushi bar made of Hinoki wood imported from Japan. The design of the space was guided by the Principles of Wabi Sabi, A Japanese philosophy that embraces the beauty of imperfection.
Temple Records is our quaint, listening bar, where a curated collection of vinyl records are played throughout the evening. Inspired by the listening bars of the 1950s in Japan, temple record is our interpretation of an ideal bar playing eclectic collection of music while enjoying cocktails. Temple records is truly a passion project Of BCB3 principals. The beverage menu showcases an array of Japanese cocktails, whiskeys, gin, and much more. You will find an ever-changing Izakaya style food menu curated to complement the beverage program.
Zurito showcases our love for the Basque region of Spain. This unique pintxos bar and restaurant is in the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston. Formerly occupied by Bin 26 enoteca for nearly two decades, the space has been transformed to take the guests to the streets of San Sebastian. With a wide array of pintxos (tapas), wines and a cocktails, we want to showcase the pride of the Basque region. Designed by Bergmeyer and built by CAFCO, ZURITO is slated to open fall of 2024.
